Department of Computers Science
Computers is a branch of engineering that integrates several fields of computer science and electronic engineering required to develop computer hardware and software. The Department of Computer Engineering is concerned with providing a high-quality study environment to inculcate the values and concepts of computer engineering, mathematics, physics and modern technology in the graduates of this department. It also aims to enhance the spirit of research and development among the graduates, in order to produce a generation of engineers who have a high ability to solve engineering problems and take initiative and leadership in the fields of computer engineering and science.

Programs in the College of Computing are designed to comply with the accreditation requirements of ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. and IEEE/ACM Guidelines. It includes subjects in basic sciences, mathematics, analysis and design, communication skills, and humanities and social sciences. Practical laboratory experience and a focus on design are important components that are incorporated into the curricula of the various disciplines.
